BOOKS
My passion lies in nonfiction writing. This always has, and likely always, will be. While many of my books emerge from personal experiences, I find inspiration in everyday observations that spark my imagination. Though I write wherever inspiration hits, I’ve found that the predawn hours, while still in bed, offer the most creative clarity.
I believe everyone has a unique story to tell. However, effective writing requires both mental quietude and the discipline to focus on a project from conception to completion. Is this the year you’ll publish your first book? If you need guidance getting started, I’m just an email away.
Writing is therapeutic for me, enabling me process my many thoughts. Through my blog, I can share glimpses of my heart with readers like you, hopefully leaving you with something to contemplate. For those who prefer traditional books, I’ve authored several works. I hope you’ll enjoy whichever title you decide to purchase today and perhaps return for another—either for yourself or a friend.
While I’m currently working on my next project, “Broken Hearts,” I’m also planning to convert all my previously published titles to audiobooks. Your prayers for the success of these endeavours would mean the world to me.
As my fiftieth birthday approaches, thoughts flood my mind—the good, the bad, and the ugly. Restless nights and anxious days have become frequent companions.
How did I get to fifty? It’s partly scary when I think about having fifty birthday cakes and fifty Christmas celebrations! The loudest of my thoughts keep circling back to one question: Have I made the most of my time or have I wasted a large chunk of my life?
With thoughts about the possibility of hosting my dearest friends for a huge bash, starting a charity, or spending time alone in a cave swirling in my mind, one thing remained certain: I would write a book. Writing helps me process my thoughts.

Barely a few months after we met, we began all the frantic preparations for our big day. We spared no expense in our quest to have the wedding celebrations of our dreams. After, we both were exhausted and had a well-deserved honeymoon, miles away from home on one of Denmark’s coldest islands.
I wish this was all that marriage was about. I got used to waking up at about half nine to a cup of coffee and a warm kiss from the love of my life. We’d have a shower together, then have breakfast while we looked over the beach. We constantly looked into each other’s eyes with so much assurance of a great future together. Then, we’d take long walks in each other’s arms, and then a nap just about noon.
I wasn’t ready for the reality of marriage; neither did I have any plans. Fast forward twenty years, I really wish I knew some of the things I know now. I wish someone had sat me down and explained things to me. Like a rookie bride, I’ve learnt marriage the hard way. Here we go …The Book I Wish I Had Read Before I Said I Do!
The Journey to the Cross is a 60-day devotional gleaned from the latter chapters of the gospel of John. It’s interesting to see the events leading up to the cross through the eyes of the disciples, the Jews who couldn’t wait to see Jesus killed and Jesus Himself.
Jesus faced the cross with humility and obedience, focus and determination, surrender and courage. For the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross. I may never comprehend how much it cost Jesus to lay down his life for me to rescue me from sin.
Join me over the next few weeks as we explore the sights and sounds from the upper room (where Jesus had his last meal with his disciples) to the garden of Gethsemane (where the disciples slept off while Jesus agonized in prayer) and finally up the hill to Golgotha (where the Lamb of God was slain for the sins of the world).
Life is so brief. Your time is your life. Don’t just count the years, let your years count for eternity. The rat race is a survival mentality: No purpose, no end goals. Its aim is to keep us always on the run, satisfying our selfish ambitions, comparing and competing with others, never really enjoying the moments, and unable to experience the abundant life Jesus promised. Certainly, there must be more to life than all these. What are you living for? For me, to live is Christ.
God sent you to this planet on purpose to fulfill a purpose. Life doesn’t really begin at birth or even at 40; but when our lives align with God’s purpose. And if you are wondering how you can discover God’s purpose for you, now is the time to ask God: Who am I? Why am I here on earth? Where am I going?
Twenty years ago, I received my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) call-up letter and embarked on an eight-hour bus journey from Jibowu, Lagos, to Nonwagbamtai in Rivers State. I had no idea what lay ahead, but I was filled with excitement as I looked forward to an uncertain future.
Little did I know that God had my service year all planned out. The trajectory of my life took a completely different direction because of the NCCF. I accepted the role of Financial Secretary with hesitation and trepidation. I thought this was just another fellowship, but it wasn’t. This was where my passion for the Father’s business was ignited. The fervent prayers before each outreach, the meticulous preparation, and the long days—from dawn to dusk—hosting outreaches in remote and rural communities left an indelible imprint on my soul.
You get married to the love of your life and never think that in your wildest dreams, you’ll be sat in your gynaecologist’s office where s/he delivers the news that your chance of having your baby is very slim. It’s so unfair that many other mums get to choose when they want to have a baby while some of us have to endure the emotional roller coasters of procedures, therapies, and treatments?
Why God would say, ‘Be fruitful and multiply’ but yet watch His daughters endure the pain and shame of childlessness? He who knows the end from the beginning and what’s best for each of us has promised that our unique situations will end in the praise and the glory of His name.
And whether God gives you children through your womb or instructs you to adopt others, what a privilege to be entrusted with His precious little ones. Don’t give up hoping and trusting in God. Impossibilities is where God begins, wonders are what He does. Someday, you will testify of the great things God has done.
The greatest investment in your children isn’t a great education nor a wealthy inheritance but your fervent and consistent prayers. What’s the value in looking forward to a great future if your children have no personal relationship with God and are without the pursuit of His purpose for their lives?
Would you join me over the next few days and weeks as we pray for our children’s future, that the fear of God would rule their decisions, that they walk in the ways of the Lord all the days of their life, to be courageous, fearless and to live an imprint on their generation? You don’t want your children married to just anyone, stuck on a path that’s not for them, or struggling with several addictions.
Don’t underestimate the impact of your prayers. Let’s commit our precious children to the Lord today and watch Him do great and amazing things in and through them.
